About FHRM Scholarship Fund
The Fred Henry, Jr. / Ray McDonald Scholarship Fund, is a local 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. The FHRM Scholarship Fund was created to provide college scholarships for New Mexico high school seniors. So far, the fund has raised over $160K to help send over 120 kids to college.
The Fred Henry, Jr. / Ray McDonald Scholarship Fund is open to all high school graduates from the state of New Mexico. The scholarship is open to students regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, and open to any college in the United States.
Fred Henry, Jr. passed away in August of 1996. He graduated from Alamogordo High School, the University of New Mexico, and played for the Los Angeles Rams for three years.
Ray McDonald passed away in 1993. He graduated from Alamogordo High School, the University of Idaho, and played for the Washington Redskins.
Both are remembered as kind and generous men.
